At Saarathi Medical and Diabetes Hospital, we have a large numbers of children with diabetes. Most of them with Type 1 diabetes needing at least 50-100 units of insulin every day to survive. Many of their family cannot afford this burden. Stopping the treatment due to financial problems lead Type 1 children go into life threatening complications and sometimes death.
